Well Ive decided on my next modification for my Wrangler. Im going to add a Magnaflow Muffler. I asked the dealership and they said as long as I keep it factory from the cat up to the engine it wont void any warranty, so Im going to take measurements and see if I can mount the muffler somewhere kind of under the drivers seat area. Then just replace the factory muffler with pipe to keep all the stock hangers and such. I dont have welder access so I have to find ways of doing stuff like this without one. Ill put up pics and video once I get the muffler and everything ready.
Also, trying to figure out what size pipe is on there factory. Anybody know? Im guessing 2.5" or 2.25"????????????

Why not get a complete kit from magnaflow? wouldn`t it already come with the exhaust to bolt it all in?

Just look at the cat back kits, They are normally made to hang in the stock hangers, no welding involved.

i know you said you can do it yourself for about 80 or 90 bucks but i made friends with a shop while shoping around so i was wondering do you have a custom exhust shop near you my buddy`s shop bends them up cat back with a flowmaster for around 250 to 325 installed (dual exhaust is more work) and i know about 20 jeeps that he has done so if you have one down your way i bet if you look into it you maybe suprised and remember if the guy is reputable he will stand behind his work kinda like a warranty i know my buddy crushed his tailpipe pretty good one time offroad and the shop cut and welded a new one on for 20 bucks while he waited (about 30min) so i would way out the pro . and cons . it doesnt hurt to call around or stop in and say hi and see ! remember if you and a couple of your friends want custom exhaust talk to the guy maybe you can get a group discount again it doesnt hurt to ask all they can say is no discount ... i know 4 guys got thiers done for around 175 a peice wish i had gotten in on that deal lol .....

unfortunately there arent any shops around here. 2 general mechanic shops but they are outrageous on exhaust prices for some reason, guess cuz they dont like doing it and they dont do very good work either.
Plus I like doing it myself, whatever method I have to use, and it gives me and my buddies stuff to do on the weekends.
I appreciate the comments/suggestions and such thou.

I agree with the do it yourself attitude. I don`t like to take mine anywhere, unless it is to a friends house for some Modifing.
Just have fun with it.

ha ha, no doubt Ill have some fun with it. Im still waiting on my muffler to get here. Apparently, the place I bought it from didnt have it in their warehouse so its coming direct from Magnaflow. I hope it gets here so I can install it this weekend.

I finally got my muffler yesterday and went to the parts store, got everything I needed and did the install. It got dark on me by the time I finished so I had to wait till today to get a video. I cut in a 4" round magnaflow muffler under the drivers seat area. I reused the bent piece of pipe that went over the axle as well as the hanger it was in. Then I added a 90* bend to point the pipe to the passenger side. A piece of straight pipe got it over there and then another 90* bend pointed it out the back and then a crome tip finished it off. Here is the video.

Sounds good make shure any of the clamps will not poke a hole in any thing if hit up when off roading.
