I'm heading to Hot Springs in the morning with a few Southern High Rollers to romp and play for the weekend. Man, do I need this break. Bringing the wife and camera, so hopefully will get some good pics.

You have to try Imposable! I all most made it, got to the bottom of the last ledge and the shifter went south and had to back all way down. Doug and the dodge is the only one from the group on the 4Th that made it. Wish we were going I had a blast.

Sorry for the slow report....I`ve been getting my front leafs off (yes, bent them both to hell) and trying to get my winch going again. (yes, that also quit and a very BAD time, as if there is ever a good time) Only the top spring in each pack got bent so I`m going to a local place tomorrow to have new top leafs made and save the packs. Not sure what is wrong with the winch. Solenoids all tested OK, but I haven`t tested the motor yet. Ordered and in-cab controller for the winch and I`m gonna get that wired in while everythings apart. The trails were REALLY wet which made them freaking tough. Some of the same stuff we walked through in July was a winch fest this time. One of my buddies in a buggy just walked pretty much through anything....till he put it on its lid.
I`ve got an album posted up on my site. URL below (hope it works)

I was just getting ready to give you a shout to see if you made it back. Your luck sounds like mine. Wonder if it was axle wrap that bent the springs? I inverted the super lifts springs I had with the shackel reverse, but the RE have been holding up great on mine. Sucks about the winch as well...especailly when you needed it. Gonna go check out the picks.

No since my leafs are in the front, don`t think it was axle wrap.
I think it was that stump sticking out from the bank on the passenger side that got caught in my ROCK RING when I thought my tire was BEHIND it. I just kept giving it a little more throttle to get the tire to climb and all I was doing was pushing the front axle backwards. I normally have about 3-4 inches on spline left on the driveshaft at rest and when I stopped, I had less than a inch. It also pivoted the axle (pinion down) which cause one of the hydro line on the steering to loosen up and I shot my entire wad of hydro fluid and lost the steering. No matter how much I improve the rig....just can`t seem to improve the driver.

Wasn`t the same stump I hit and sheared off the high steer studs was it I have seen guys with larger tires, big motors and soft leafs put anti wrap bars on the front was why I was curious. As for the driver....well
Great pics in the album, looks like you had a nice size group! Too bad we cannot select the weather each time we go. I hate wet muddy wheelin.
