Well after alot of work and parts, it is a sad day, but due to new job and economics I have decided to sell the 85 K5 Blazer. Its got a fresh rebuilt 454ci v8 alot of goodies, AAMCO rebuilt th400 shift kit and set up for HP! and rebuilt NP208. has 10 bolt GM axles, w/4:10 gears and detroit lockers front & rear, Solid front tie rod. 4" suspension lift, quick disconnect torsion bar. 35X12.50 15 ProComp Mud Terrain w/spare
It has an electrical issue after changing from 24V diesel to 12 V gas. probably an easy fix if I had time.
Was asking $5,000, but will entertain any offers. Still a darn good solid truck. Was old ARMY CUCV M1009 so has all lift/tow points. Always a good thing if you get stuck alot. 245-289-9449

Didn't the CUCV's come with 8lug 44 front and 14bolt rear? They were supposedly rated at 1 1/4 ton trucks.

the Cucv M1010 pickup has 14 bolt rears Detroit locker and D60 front, but the Blazer M1009 came with 10 bolt GM axles Gov loc in rear. Ive replaced the Gov Loc w Detroit Lockers front & rear. This was because the pickup could be a contact truck or commo truck and loaded heavy. The Blazer could barely hold 4 duffel bags and a cammo net.

Those old balzers were fun though. the one that we had used to run 80MPH on the highway. Would scream like hell with that 3 speed trany.

TJ mine USED to run around 75-80mph, the 4:10 gears kind put an end to that, Dont know with the 454 it might, it revs alot higher than the diesel. I use a handheld GPS as a speedometer. 65-70 is all Ive done with it since the eng change.
Ive never gotten pics to work on here. But I do have some good off road pics a few videos - may not be a good selling point been straight up & down, but never rolled.
