Why bother changing the cage? From what I've seen, the one you had was working just fine! Plenty of abuse and still holding up.
You planning some big roll overs?
You'd better stick with me. Bad things seem to happen when you wheel without me

No pics from last night but I made progress. There are new problems to solve now. I have to relocate the windshield tie downs, the CO2 tank and the Ice chest. And build new seat brackets because the cage was built for a YJ and I am putting it in a CJ5. Pics later.

man you can never be too safe......only 50% of my rolls and flops have been planned....you just never know whats going to happen.
steves may have been working fine on some little flops......but im willing to bet this one is about twice as strong
as far as being scuffed......i like to test my products before letting someone else have them

I'm not questioning the strength of your cage Tim. I know you do quality work. Don't know the difference in diameter and material between his old one and yours.
Was just wondering. And I agree you can't be too safe.

progress, I made the cuts and built new mounting plates. It is basically set where it is going to stay. The biggest problem is where to mount the Ice chest and I hope I never have to remove the tool box. Hey Tim, what color krylon is on the cage?
Sorry crappy cell phone pics
